Guest Guest Posted October 6, 2011 Indeed this is a very strong image, the atmosphere and the foggy condition makes it so, the man out there almost vanishing at the massive fog on his bike add the proper ratio and scaling of distant to the image to enhance this place appearance, the B/W format and its related contrast and tone are of very high quality and thats makes this image composition very powerful by all means. Thank you for sharing it and wishing you all of the best. Link to comment

sidselto 0 Posted October 6, 2011 Interesting photo. The foggy atmosthere creates a special mood. The left edge of the road leads the eyes from the postbox to the person (messenger). Good perspective and composition. Very good in B&WSidsel Link to comment

alfbailey 2 Posted October 7, 2011 Great perspective, the nearby clarity of the postbox serves too accentuate the gradual diminishing visibilty with the rider a ghostly figure at the end of the leading line. Very well composed and moody image. I love the title too!Best RegardsAlf Link to comment

BelaMolnar 2 Posted October 18, 2011 Excellent title, and a supper moody image. Further improvement, as I was playing with the cropping, I would crop out the left part of the post/letter box. For me, with the cropping of it, the image is more simple and dramatic and the mood more powerful. The road with the geometric forms, disappearing cyclist in the fog, and the single bush and the dark grey sky is very powerful. Of cause IMHO.Greetings,Bela Link to comment
BelaMolnar 2 Posted October 18, 2011 According with the "golden section", the image is more perfect now, as I try to demonstrate. IMHO again. Link to comment
