Captivating and at once evoking a sense of anxiety, even terror as well as sensuality. The staring eye and expressionless face, combined with the awkward placing of arm and leg, as if these limbs are isolated from human bodies, conjure up a scene of violence, despite the subdued colours. I like this image, particularly the way the eye is the main focus though maybe the picture is a tad too much of the same tone. Maybe some soft red in there too would be good? KR Sue
