Hi Sam,

A nice colorful ground scene.

The Canon 50mm F/1.8 lens performs much better at F/4 or F/5.6 than F/7, though. The DOF would still be fine.

thanks very much for your input.

What would have changed in the image if I had used a F/4 or F/5.6 aperture setting?

I can't redo this shot as the fungus has already lived its useful life & is gone forever...
