mark_q 0 Posted October 2, 2011 A really stylish street photo by the over all purity and cleaness. I very much like that the woman is not stealing the show as she almost disappear there, but her head helps to re-spot her again. I wish there were a little more detail on the left hand horse and thus wonder if you could improve that loss by finetuning the B&W conversion? Link to comment
gunnar1664882369 1 Posted October 3, 2011 Ben, Niki, Markku, your comments are much appreciated, thank you for stopping by. The image is quite dear to me, I don´t know why, but I am quite happy on it. The quality is not the best, sure, but there is something I like myself. Markku, thanks a lot for this remark, this is a good suggestion about left horse. I am quite bad in post-processing and am even not sure that in the PhotoFiltre - the software I am using - is possible to do such tuning. Thanks again! Bst regards. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted October 13, 2011 The basic, straightforward composition is a perfect setting for the elaborately costumed horseman. I think the simplicity of the presentation is the secret to the success of this picture. Dramatize the ordinary; underplay the dramatic. Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted August 22, 2014 I would say that they are no match'. (*_*). A very well composed shot with nice tonality. Link to comment
