A sunset shot of the Tetons from Lake Solitude in the national park. I'm on the fence about this one and would really appreciate some honest criticism here. Although Lake Solitude is a strikingly beautiful alpine tarn and it was awesome to be there, photographically it was challenging. The Tetons were squeezed between the ridge wedges on either side, and I couldn't find an interesting fg on the shore of the lake - only a perfect edge. As it is, I have dodged and burned this little in-flow trickle considerably. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Nice photograph.  I agree with your own observation that the foreground lacks a little punch. It is also maybe a little too dark?   I think the reflection is great and the colours on the mopuntain are very striking.  Did you post-process the sky?  The edges between the mountain and the sky look almost unnaturally sharp and the reflection of the moon is missing or obscured?

Hey Marc,

We fell in love with the Tetons a few years ago.  Such a beautiful place.  Other than being just a tad-bit dark, which I believe, if lightened, would bring a little more punch to the foreground, I'm impressed with the capture. Nice work.  Cheers for the Holiday Season!
