I love these kinds of shots.

Shadows are mass, and the the actorin these shots becomes a doeppelganger.

We think (or see through the viewfinder) without filtering out things non-photographers and non-street photographers filter out.  If it's 'mass' then it is photographable and becomes part of the photo, no matter if it's real or a chimera or shadow.
