jenniferfraser 0 Posted October 5, 2011 I was trying to capture the speed of the cars by getting the dragging lights look. I found it a challenge to time it all just right to get cars to be nicely spaced out along the bridge. I wonder now If I should have aimed to have longer car lights.........what do you think? Guest Guest Posted October 6, 2011 Longer light trails would improve this photo. If you don't have one, get yourself a neutral density filter. All they do is block out the light evenly, allowing you to get nice long exposures. Don't worry about timing the cars for now. Just practice getting the trails the length you want, you might be surprised at what you end up with. Link to comment
lynnthomas 0 Posted October 6, 2011 I get what you were trying to do but in my opinion I like this just the way it is BECAUSE its a little different. The cars look like small boxes which is not usually the way we see them in these kinds of shots. Always I see the long tail light photos but this is just different enough to make it more interesting.
