Welcome back John.  You were missed here, and fill a void, so to speak.   I like the photos that have some background in them.   You have posted so many photos, I feel certain I could find my way around your flat blindfolded.  Aloha.

you have a line dynamic that ends at the cross of her feet, I think it was done intentionally  on your part.

I for one feel the edit adds no greater subject focus, just because it is a cleaner composition. 

I will stay with the framework on the original. Bravo...

I like it the way it is. It is very natural.

I like background elements in a picture, so I guess I would vote for the original picture. I will echo the previous comments in saying that you were very much missed here.

My humble opinion:Do not remove the background but crop the image to make vertical door and shelves. If you can answer a question, which lens you used. Congratulations on al your work, I like your photos. Vincent
