marc_dilley1 0 Posted September 27, 2011 An old Kodachrome scan from my Nikon FE taken from the summit of Eldorado Mountain in the North Cascades. We had finished our climb just before sunset and this is looking west down Marble Creek, roughly in the direction of Seattle. These are false colors, created in Adobe Camera Raw by first converting to B&W and then adding the Highlight orange/yellows and Shadows blue/greens in the Split Toning tab. leo burkey 0 Posted September 28, 2011 I have always like these misty mountain images and this is no exception. I like that you have maintained details in your shadow values as this is many times lost in these images.Well done, Marc! Link to comment

marc_dilley1 0 Posted September 28, 2011 Thanks guys. This was one of my favorite old slides and I've wanted for years to work this into a quality digital image. Noise reduction was a big part of my process in ACR and the selective use of Surface Blur in PS. And bigtime dusk removal. Link to comment
