Thanks!  It took forever to get him in a crossed legs pose.  I used a slight diffused glow to help soften his splotchy newborn skin.  I've been watching for any newborn pics from you.

This is a beautiful portrait of a newborn, it is also quite unique. The little details, like the legs and arms crossed and how he is looking at you, really make this special. The lighting is also terrific. A very nice image, Deb!

I also could not pass up a chance to comment - so many baby pictures, but this one is really special - the position of the baby, soft lighting, and something about that rolled up blanket .. such nice lines!
