This is unique, the place and the way you have lit this sense is amazing and well driving the viewers to a world of real and natural Drama, the present of the light and shade are of very powerful atmosphere which the contents of this image well deserve to bring it in such a movie stile, the ladies are the life to the place and to method of getting this capture well communicating with the viewers and they are also the actual enhancement of the well built composition.

Thank you my friend for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

Great composition. The slight  motion blur gives the ladies a slow motion dynamic that really animates the shot.

Best regards,

Niki, very good composition, exposure and tones. The silence of midnight and three ladies walking on a deserted street lend an atmosphere of drama in real life.

Niki, this is a wonderful, compelling image. Well composed and exposed. My eye is drawn to the light source, the three silhouettes and their shadows on the street. It makes me wonder; what are three elderly ladies doing in an alley late at night? Excellent street photography, congratulations. Best wishes, Linda

Lovely photograph, Niki. The lighting, the composition, all very well done. Congrats on the POW. I'd like to take a little credit for seeing the merits of the picture very early.

A very fine composition and lighting. Using the silhouettes of the apparent older folks and the street lighting is very effective.  You can almost hear them talking. Well done.

A higher ISO and faster shutter speed would have likely eliminated the slight blur on the ladies... but then it does show movement.

Nice to see that there are areas where older folks can be safely on the streets at this hour.

Hi Niki,

You have utilized the Nikon D300S sensor characteristics well.

The lower light level exposure is adequate to develop the dynamic range of the sensor present.

The results are very good all around.

Best Regards,  Mike
