The title is for the birds--but the portrait!  My word!  I have never seen wrinkles photographed so profoundly.  The angle and frame--perfect.  The moment--exactly right.  A fantastic photograph.

this is a really stunning portrait. Technically unexceptionable- volumes, lightings,DOF, the crop- all is working for the special feeling of this image.
