Greetings from last Millennium! This photo was taken of me in my room, under the Cathetral of Uspenski in 1970's. The camera was, if I remember right, Nikon with 50 mm objective. My father came there as a caretaker then. In 1975 he moved to the Orthodox graveyard for the same job. My grandfather had also the same job in Kyyrola (Krasnoselskoje), in Karelia. This came into my mind when I saw this picture.Greetings Pekka

It nice to see your self portrait here, these old images are of great treasure and we have great moment here so well been captured, the old days b/w format is remarkable and the details are rich, I like the contrast and tone and also the contents of this place which do add to the atmosphere.

Thank you my friend for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

This is a remarkable photo with a bit of genius touch. It so busy that it should not be great, but it is. I like it a lot.

This image is not so different from my outlook at that time, musical taste wise, I guess many were listening to the Stones and Zep back then. But the point is you took me down memory lane with this photo and a pleasant journey it was, thanks for sharing. Take care.

Regards,

Holger
