Try bring out (or exposing differetently) the clouds in the sky to add more interest. Also bring out the texture in the foreground. See example.

A good example of the rule of thirds, well composed with nice colors,

I just noticed some blown light at the junction between the land and the sky ,.

Sarah exposed an interesting solution not exactly well rendered, but we can get her point! And I think she's right!

Best regards Dillan!

P.S. I tried the same and noticed that it was done with shadows/highlights tool, that the picture has been over compressed and that better result is impossible to be achieved!

Dillan, I really like your rendition.  Very nicely composed and exposed.  It has an expansive feeling of peacefulness (sometimes hard to come by in wide open spaces).  The posted alternative loses this feeling completely.  To my eye, the alternative has lost much of its center of interest (where the eye naturally goes), and the colors and textures border on garish (IMO, of course).  Personally, I wouldn't change a thing on your photo.  Yes, it is possible to bring out a lot more detail in the sky and color/texture in the grasses, but just because one can doesn't necessarily mean that one should.  It all depends on what you want to say or convey with the photograph.
