Lovely timing and very nice topic.  Why not crop it a bit tighter, so that you have the main topic more in the focus.  That way you will also loose the overexposed area.   Just a thought.

I was thinking that maybe it gives some space and contrast around the scene. But am agree with your suggestion too, I will try it.
