I really like this image, however the reflections are very distracting and keep this from being a stunning image. Maybe try using a polarizer?

A very pleasing photograph Vlad, it's very difficult to photograph glass but you have achieved it, it really sparkles and looks translucent. Well done.

I assume that, because your info says that you used a polarizer, that you did. Is there any other way to cut down the reflections? Otherwise, it's a nice shot ... great idea!

Doug, Richard, Igor and Lou Ann, thanks for stopping by.

My purpose here wasn't advertise glassware, and I realized that there would be reflections of everything around. Of course, I used polarizer, I used to use it almost permanently, you may find a reference to it in most of my image tech dets. I did this in my kitchen, used just regular electric light available and tripod. Reflections were a part of the 'EggGame'. To make a 'real fine art' I would do shots in a studo or at least, in some corner with monochrome screened (black, white, red...) walls and diffuse light.

I agree that you should leave the kitchen out of the glassware. Not difficult to do "white line" lighting. The composition and subject are very nice as well as the overall presentation. Real eye-catcher at first glance but then the kitchen appears...

Excellent idea, Vlad. Unexpected combination of objects. I am tempted to try something similar

;-))

Not quite sure about the reflections in the upper part of the glasses but I find it very interesting how the eggs overlap with the reflection from the glass. This makes the eggs look glassy.

I like it all the more because it was done in a kitchen - let this sort of thing be an inspiration to those of us who've never been near a studio and are not likely to! Thanks.

The idea is original and the composition spot on.

Great work. For me the reflections enhance the shot, not detract from it. Glass is reflective and you have captured it very well. It makes me wonder what the reflections are of.

Thanks, David, for your comment, technical excellence is my dream goal, so it's pleasant to hear that I've achieved it. As for idea, it is in interaction of various shapes and the light.
