This is certainly not a street photograph, it is life, but there's nosuch category to choose here, so I put it in children...

Thank youfor your attention dear colleagues!

Very nicely composed & well timed capture.Just enough shutter speed to avoid the motion blurr & very nicely rendered in B&W.

My best regards.

The environment and atmosphere proved again to be of a great success for this series of the beaches and along with the people as they are in this image a remarkable of feelings of life been added superbly to this image.

Your control over the exposure value is of very high quality and so the DOF been here so effective and brought out very fine details from all over this relaxing and pleasant place, the b/w format once again added a great interest to this image, specially with the amazing contrast and tone obtained.

Thank you my friend for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

My friend, Pierre, excellent photograph mimicking that of a fine film camera shot.

The smooth transaction of the tones is due to the well corrected Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar zoom lens.

A great presentation, too.

Best Regards,  Uncle Mike

It tells a story, and it's well composed. Black and white? Yeah, in this case colours would have drawn attention away from the story.

Best regards

P.S. I never messed around with someone's mammy in my life! Ha!

there is really nothing to critique about that picture, just a perfect B/W capture. I really appreciate your critiques, they help me a lot.

Pierre.

It's so very nice to see you upload images like this Pierre. I hope these are on a bit of a vacation for you! Some time by the sea before it gets too cold. The tree is a nice 'partial frame' for Mother and son. It's nice to see the mountains in the distance as well. Very well done!

Kind regards, Gail

Pierre,

I like the composition and details here! The B&W almost adds the feeling of a family vacation scene you'd see from the 1950's. Now the beaches are much more crowded, at least those seen here in the U.S. anytime their seen in photos, news, videos, etc., etc..

Not been too active lately, . . . so my apologies for all your work that I've missed the past few months! "I'll be back!"

Best wishes always my far away friend,

Jim j.

Excellent B&W work.  I love how the tree and its shadow frame this scene.  The soft detail of the tree branches is a nice touch, which goes hand in hand with the photograph's main theme - the relationship between mother and child.

My best,

michael
