A STREAM IN A MARSH (Please view large)

This is one of two streams that feed into our small lake.The filtering

effect of the marsh has provided us with a lake with clear & clean

I bfind this image very appealing and of very powerful exposure value, the DOF is very effective as the details here are so fine and so the colors of very vivid nature, the place is so pleasant and relaxing and the same it is well connecting with the viewers for its peaceful atmosphere, I find the sky here is ok and the image composition is well thought off.

Ross, I can see why you focused on the lily pads in this photo because that is what I would have done also.   This photo shows a great depth of field and in order to "obey the laws" (which I never do), you could crop the sky out of this photo which might keep the eye focused on your main attraction, the lily pads, which then emphasizes a sinuous path back to the distant lake.  Any way you look at this photo, it is beautiful.  The attachment is only a suggestion.  Blessings from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, Rebekah
