The original image is of a Black Eyed Susan just as it is opening. I

will post underneath. The rest of the image is just alternate layers of

the same image, distorted, then sharpened, rotated, and a texture

layer added. I also used Layer Blending Modes.(Thanks for dropping

by, sincerely, Gail)

You must have been writing as I was posting the photo I started with. I truly appreciate that lovely critique. I could have created 2 seperate images as I was doing this one, but saw a step further and tried it, and it just looked so 'tribal'......so I went with this one.

I so enjoyed the shots of the boys, I almost feel like I am watcing them grow up here on PN. They are certainly beautiful boys.

Talk again soon, Gail

You're certainly the Sorceror's Apprentice. I envy both your curiousity and your doggedness in manipulating the image to reveal an entirely different reality.

Well, I do enjoy the process, often though I think I perhaps work too long on an image, yet while I am doing so, I learn a lot about layers and blending modes and just what you can do with a simple image. The possibilities are endless.

Your encouragement and compliments have not gone unnoticed, many thanks for your time and interest.

Kindest regards, Gail

I can't take an eye of it (my English sucks) and even gave it a seven from the bottom of my heart! Wonderful, significant shapes and colors and I think the caption suits it well! Congratulations my dear Gail!

Best regards!

I like both versions, the original shows your skill with dealing with such subject technical wise and the manipulated one again demonstrate your attachment to this style of fine art and I must admit that your an expert in that field.

The post is very beautiful and of very attractive nature which makes it well connect with the viewers because of its pleasant atmosphere.

Thank you my friend for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.
