What  a lovely shade of blue Linda. I can see how they arrived at the name for this lake. It appears so tranquil and peaceful. The foreground limbs and water grasses seem to make a perfect frame for these boaters enjoying a splendide day.

Congrats, lovely work. Most sincerely, Gail

Some images speaks loud and some images are silent, yours are the ones which speak for them selves, this is a remarkable capture of a very relaxing and pleasant place, the atmosphere here is very original which every one would love to  experience and enjoy some moment with it, to me your exposure was set remarkably to obtain such an even light all over the place and so the DOF been so effective to gain all of the fine details, the present of the boats and possibly the fisher men along with this amazing blue tone are a superb add to the well thought off composition of this image.

Thank you for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

Hello Linda,

The branches on the left of the picture, and the boat, are two interesting points of interest.

The image on my screen is a bit too blue for my taste, but that is something easily adapted.

Well Done,

Ben

Thank you both for stopping and commenting.

Ben, this colour is pretty much true to the colour of the lake in the sunshine. The first time I saw water in this colour I was surprized because it seemed unatural.

Best wishes,

Linda
