His shop is a pit one meter below the ground level,his oven is made

from hay and mud,the chimney of which is three used oil barrels,he

used hand made tools,and he made a primitive agricultural tool from

dismantled cars parts and shafts.

When I have asked him about his profession and how it is going to be

extinct ,he answered me very proudly : Do not be afraid ,I have

inherited this shop and the profession from my father ,and I will

deliver it to my own two sons.

He was the only one left in the whole of northern Iraq using the old

traditional blacksmithing ,shown in the image with his two sons.
