compound that contains the onion-domed church, left rear, in Kyiv,

The 'church' in background may indeed be an orthodox 'cathedral', I am unsure of the exact nomenclature.

I have several times been inside, but not in all of the inside as monks come into the main part at dusk to sing in polyphony their beautiful religious music and also to pray, but once they disappear through wooden doors in wooden walls that separate out their place, they aren't seen until after their service.

This wall is outside the compound, and leads from city streets to the compound entrance.
