Lonely

Great composition!  You've got a "roof" that extends the width of the frame, the bird is nicely placed and just happens to be looking the "right" (aesthetically pleasing) way, and the background is very bright but so nicely OOF that it doesn't distract.  Considering the background brightness, you did a great job in setting the exposure -- the bird and overhanging branches are nicely exposed.

The composition here with the tree canopy first the title and adds to the title's feeling perfectly.

I'm wondering how a square format would look with a little less tree canopy. It may work, though I do like it as is
