May be this is the reason why this cottage been left behind because of the high voltage which been said it is causing cancer, you did a great job here and you lit this place remarkable with very effective DOF and sharp details, the b/w format is also well working here.

Thanks, Rashed.  Actually, it was't the power lines that caused the problem.  The entire town, Hackberry, had begun in 1871 as a mining town, then a mill and railroad town, then a tourist town on Route 66.  The town finally died when Route 66 was bypassed by Interstate 40.  This house is actually in worse shape than the rest of the few that remain.  I doubt that the population exceeds 10 people now, mostly supported by the touiristy general store and relics on Route 66, which continues to attract tourists, just not in the same numbers as in the past..
