1:1 Macro Settings, Nikon 40mm/f2.8 DX AF-S (top) and 105mm/f2.8 AF-S VR (bottom)

The subject is a 10 Euro bill taped to the wall. On top, I had the 40mm DX Micro mounted onto a D7000. If I want to get to 1:1, there is only a 4 cm working distance between the rim of the lens and the wall.Below, I have the Nikon 105mm/f2.8 AF-S VR Micro lens in the 1:1 setting, and the longer lens provide a much longer working distance.
