marcadamus 1 Posted September 4, 2011 This is a small portrait of Oregon's massive Proxy Falls taken with a 250mm focal length on a sunny day in the afternoon when light hits the brilliant green foliage to the side and reflects green-filtered light onto the mossy terraces and water. Rainbows form in the light intermittently as spray from the higher falls keeps the whole scene misty and surreal. Minor processing work was aimed at balancing the large range of light throughout the scene and dodge/burning. Link to comment

ldavidson 4 Posted September 5, 2011 Marc, this is sensational! I know this couldn't have been easy to capture, I have tried. The diffused light glow on the rainbow is amazing. It creates an ethereal, magical atmosphere, so beautiful and idyllic. Best wishes, Linda Link to comment
