guillelobera 0 Posted September 1, 2011 These are the ruins of the Boltaña Castle. The documentaryhistory and constructive of the castle start to the early eleventhcentury. Part of the work of this Castle is due to Lombard mastersmade from 1017, but years later possibly extended by local teacherstrained in the Lombard buildings.The Boltaña and the Abizanda Castles are the onlyfull-Sobrarbe-enclosed with common decorative features thatconstituting the first Christian strongholds in Sobrarbe.
