Jim, I agree that this is great. Well done. But imagine it, in addition, with a figure in the foreground ... or a nude figure lying down for example ... ?

This reminds me of a computer game cover, maybe you could do design work for them...or maybe you already do?

I've always been enthraled by Hesse's novels. Your image most definetly captures his spirit. An intriguing image, for me, is the opening scene in "Klingsor's Last Summer," where standing on his verdantly enrobed stone balcony, Klingsor muses "...the hot days, long as they were, flared up and away like burning streamers...Swift dreams...moved feaverishly on."--- By the way Jim, thanks for the comment on my digital efforts.
