davidmccracken 2 Posted August 31, 2011 I am beginning to believe that body parts are better than thewhole. I wonder if any one else agrees. Feedback appreciated. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted September 1, 2011 personally i think that there may be something to Reductionism... maybe because there is less emphasis on the entire body as a whole and more as a specific part it maximizes the value of the photo. i like your photos no matter what you do... and btw the title...David! woodfred 0 Posted September 2, 2011 David : “To believe that body parts are better than the whole… “ Better ? I don’t know but very interesting, I agree with you David. To return to this beautiful picture: I am a fan of beautiful female feet (not a fetish), I like your picture and its original angle. Nice colors too. Regards, Frédéric. Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted September 2, 2011 Very clever, David. It is nice to see something other then high heels on a nude model:-) I like the image very much but would have liked it better if her left arm was either out of the frame or fully visible. A slight nit but it did bother me a little. Link to comment

davidmccracken 2 Posted September 6, 2011 Pierre, I have to be honest and say that the shoes were not the main attraction for me. Thanks for the comment.Mike, The erotic element was one I was wondering if anyone would comment on. Thanks for taking the time.Sam, I am beginning to believe you and myself regarding 'less is more.' I must try to create more partial images. Thanks a lot.Frédéric, Maybe the true answer is that both all the body and part of the body are both fine. You have certainly given me something to think about.Mark, I take your point about the arm. It doesn't bother me but I can fully understand why it might bother others. Strangely, I am not a fan of high heels. I think they remove the youth and innocence.Owen, Glad you stopped by. Thanks a lot. Link to comment
