Truly beautiufl use of Frac Linda.  I imagine you must have used layers to do this, as I have never been able to produce such an image. Your skills are truly evident, I get the feel of a 'Native' Art Image.

Just Glorious!

Beautiful work worth the Best! Kindest regards, Gail

I'd love to look over your shoulder as you create this.  The thin white lines throughout the image are great unifying elements.

I agree with Grigoriy, pixel bender (or was it fractalius) worked so well here, made a fantastic fairytale picture out of a rather common bird picture!

Best regards Linda!

Thank you all for the kind comments. I appreciate and enjoy them so much.

Gail, you are right, I used Fractalus here. I also did some other processing before that. I just played around until I liked the result.

Stephen, I just played around with the image and as I told Gail, the final step was Fractalis, a Photoshop Plug in.

Pierre, you are right again. I took this shot when I was out in my son’s boat fishing on the river. This beautiful Blue Heron took flight from the grass on the river’s edge and I took several shots. They seemed rather ordinary but the actual experience of seeing him expanding his wings and taking flight was breathtaking. So, I just spruced it up a bit, trying to add a bit of the magic I saw originally.

Monte, yes, I think I should have done a bit more editing there. Thanks for pointing that out.

Monika, thank you.

Maurizio, nice to hear from you. Thanks.

Radu, I am glad and flattered to hear you like this one.

Andrea, thanks so much.

Eystein, thank you.

With gratitude,

Linda
