Old steps

Very well done Maurizio! All the weight of the ages symbolized in the steps and carrying on his shoulders. A clever composition in a perfect bw rendition.

Posto meraviglioso così bene nella foto, il contrasto forte, tagliente come un rasoio e la scena interessante! Forse avrei selezionare il cielo e le nuvole inserire in esso! Ad ogni modo, bel quadro del maestro!

Hello Maurizio,

I am reading a book on Photography by Scott Kelby.  One of his tips is, In a city never go for groups of persons, but go for children or elderly people.  

This illustrates this very well.  You made a very strong image.

The posture and walk of the man tell a story.  Also the position of the man follows the rule of thirds.  The stairs going up while the man is looking down puts an emotional touch in the picture.
