vincetylor 0 Posted April 6, 2003 Simply outstanding panoramic. A little more light on the left gets two 7s.....wow! Link to comment

ariel_lopez 0 Posted April 7, 2003 Yes, this is a pretty picture, nice imagery, but I don't understand why you chose panoramic. To me, this is three separate elements, the mountains, the sunset, and the cross, which compete with eachother, rather than working together. The eye finds one of the three and stays there, rather than flowing through the image. The cross is the strongest element of the image, but it's placed at the extreme end of the photo, which just feels awkward. I think it would be a lot stronger if you only used the right half, and maybe included a smidge more space to the right of the cross. Link to comment

charles_miller 0 Posted April 26, 2003 Beautiful, the cross is a nice touch but doesn't overwhelm things. Link to comment
richard thompson www.fotoz 0 Posted April 30, 2003 Wow - great image ! I'm a big fan of panoramic photographs. What I find hard is what height/width ratio is the most asthetically pleasing. I find that if a panorama is too long, then it leaves the eye wandering around the photo, not knowing what to focus on. The image to me is two images : (mountains and blue sky) + (sunset, lake and sky). But I'm only being critical for the sake of discussion ! I think its brilliant and you get a 6 & 7 from me.
