Coho 2 Posted April 6, 2003 This is a reworked image scanned on a Nikon LS4000ED from the original slide. A previous version from a slide duplicate remains in my portfolio. This image had minimal touchup and contrast adjustments in PS7. Additionally, there are some other adjustments with Fred Miranda PS actions. Comments are appreciated. Thanks. Link to comment
samn 16 Posted April 6, 2003 I like the composition and aesthetics and texture, but the orange seems over-saturated to the point of becoming a lemon. If the yellow tone of the orange is to make it pop out IMHO it would be better to have been left natural. Link to comment
Coho 2 Posted April 7, 2003 This orange was sitting on the rear platform of a freshly painted red caboose that had been transported to the mountains above Boulder, Colorado where it was being used for a home. The paint job was less than 48 hours old. It was a bright sunny day and the caboose was almost blinding in the Colorado sun. I feel the colors (on my monitor) are very accurate. This was not posed! The orange was placed in that location by the owner. Link to comment
scottua 0 Posted April 11, 2003 Wonderful use of color. Beautiful image but i'm left wondering if the fruit or the shadow is the main subject. Link to comment

david_rivas 0 Posted April 22, 2003 I think the color makes this photo with the design a close second Link to comment
