Pierre Dumas 260 Posted September 8, 2011 Very nice details and technical quality and well done overall considering the kind of light used (flash)! IE it isn't the best kind of light that's for sure! Using couple of lamps and tripod in closed room would be nice for experimenting with different angles of light source, different distance etc!Best regards Maria!PDE Link to comment
spoli 0 Posted September 8, 2011 Equipment permitting: I would have used a bouncing flash -- a white ceiling or a white wall in the back is always a great help. I also see a piece of black furniture on the right side... Would it have been possible to use it as a background? This way the shadows would have disappeared and the lilies would have been more enhanced ("popping-out" better). However, for a point-and-shot camera using its embedded flash this capture looks very good. maria 7 Posted September 10, 2011 thank you for your comment. The dark piece is the door. Yes, I used it as background in another photo, but then the flash reflects in it; not so good.I hadn't so much choice in moving around the flowers and change light and so on because the flowers were not mine, they were of the former head of the department at her 60th anniversary and the photo is taken in the secretariat of the department Link to comment
