Should be better with that lens, at least I expect better sharpness and with the aperture used more DOF!

for your honest opinion - I agree with the sharpness. I have a problem with outside

shots getting really sharp - but, a lot of movement going on here. There was a lot of space between this guy's head and the background, hence lack of clarity there.

This is also a crop of the original image.
