I am sure this is a noble attempt to make some kind of photographic statement but it has a handicap that is so great that it doesn't work.  The photo is hopelessly underexposed!  If you look at the histogram (this from P/S) you can see that no pixels were exposed on the entire right side of the graph.  This means you threw away more than 3/4s of the possible pixels that your camera was capable of.

i quite like the effect of how this was shot, i think it marries in very well with a clockwork Orange theme. well done
