buck_forester 0 Posted April 4, 2003 I know, not very unique, but Yosemite Valley still inspires me even though it's been shot to pieces. I think I may have used a 2-stop soft GND to keep the clouds from blowing out a little. It was raining pretty hard when I took this shot. Any comments or suggestions (other than "go somewhere else!" :^D) are welcomed. Okay, even if you told me to go somewhere else, that'd be fine too. Thank you. This photo was taken a couple weekends ago on 3/23/03. Link to comment
peter_witkop 0 Posted April 5, 2003 If Yosemite inspires you, don't listen to anyone who tells you to go somewere else. Look for new angles and new things, always, but go were inspires you. This specific image, I like because it's not just about a pice of rock, it has a definte mood, I can tell a bit about the temp, alot about the humidity, you photographed (well, I think) the weather, not just the landscape. I would have probably given this more exposure, which would give El Cap more detail, and hopefully given you some texture in the trees, hard to tell though. Link to comment
