A very simple and minimal shot. Often less is more and this is true with this shot. All the information to tell a story is in this shot. Very clever works well. Best wishes William

I pointed out to Owen how several of us who usually post nudes have now posted abstracts recently. The high point-of-view takes what would be a normal street image and abstracts it nicely. You captured the man at exactly the correct moment. It makes the composition quite strong. As a viewer I do wonder how daring he was. Nice work, David!

Well, I hope he made is safely across the tracks!

I like it.

William, Perhaps not clever... Me thinks lucky. Thanks a lot.

Ruud, I thought so myself but self praise is no praise. Thanks.

Beth, I am glad you like both the image and the title. Thanks for both.

Mark, I am sure the gentleman is very well aware of the speed of the tram. To be honest, I can't remember exactly where I shot it. I was onboard another tram. Actually taking street photos from trams in Hong Kong is a pleasureable thing to do. Thanks.

GungaJim,  Thanks

Jim, I am sure he did. That said, had he not, I would not have photographed the carnage.

I'm not sure how one categorizes this type of photo but I know I too am attracted to it. Have done it myself, though perhaps not so successfully.  This, however is not why, from time to time, I visit your portfolio.  You have other works that are pure eye candy but since I don't indulge in that area of photography I feel I can't offer any constructive critique of it.  Your demeanor must be one of instilling confidence in your models.  Good for you!  Good for we viewers!  :-)  Best, LM.

This image was more down to luck than anything else. I keep promising myself to go back out on the streets of Hong Kong and shoot street scenes. I am sure if I did I would get more images like this. This one is quite noisy and doesn't look good as a big print. I would say it is just OK here. I have looked at your image and I am sure the print quality would be a lot better than this. I would encourage you to continue shooting street scenes. Thanks a lot.
