On Sept. 26, 2009, typhoon “Ondoy” (international codename “Ketsana”)

made landfall in the Philippines. Considered the most devastating

typhoons that hit the country, a month’s rainfall in just a single day flooded

Manila to an average level of 20ft. and washed away homes and flooded

the metropolis. Today, a painting like this one done by local artists is seen

on a wall of a building as a reminder of what happened that ill-fated day, as
