We have recently flew to Izmir and we stayed by the coast, we visited the nearby ancient city states, we also tasted a lot of the local vegetables...probably the most tasty in the world as the Turkish farmers do not use pestosides and the produce is all organic. We stayed in a hotel apartment with cooking facilities. I will never forget the experience. Sheilagh sends you her regards. She says that we must visit Instanbul again soon. Best wishes, Dimitris.
