Please view large. This point and shoot distant quick shot of the

Carbide and Carbon Building in Chicago captures one of the best

examples of art deco architecture. Although a bit soft in

sharpness, the image portrays South Michigan Avenue much like

Georgia O'keefe has created images of Manhattan sky scrapers.

Thanks for your comment.  This was a lucky shot.  I was walking across a busy street and had to just stick out the camera and shoot.  The close up art deco details in the exterior that are not seen here are amazing.  Also, the building has a greenish gray color when viewed close.
