Half Dome stitch

I quickly fired off a number of telephotos of Half Dome from Glacier Point at

sunset and stitched them together to make a high resolution panorama.

Converted to black & white with Nik Silver Efex Pro.

Especially for one in a row of pictures taken with tele lens quickly! I mean the technical quality!

Isn't this a spectacular sight?  My wife and I visited Glacier Point in 2009.  I shot images from this exact spot.  I like the B&W and admire your technical achievement.  Question,  might you have waited till the sun went down all together to get the shadow out of the image?  The shot would require keeping the shutter open for a long time, but this generally works well.  This is just a thought for the future.  Nice work, Jim.
