stemked 4 Posted August 12, 2011 Hi Wim. I would say I normally don't comment on street shots, but your's really grabbed my eye. By breaking a rule or two you've created a great image here. My first thought was that the two guys were what made this an interesting shot, and that's why I wondered why you were letting them leave the frame. But when I realized it was all about the hidden looks at these two. Great capture, well thought-out and just plain Supercool! Very thought provoking. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
wimputs 0 Posted August 12, 2011 Thanks you Douglas.Yes you right, it is all about the hidden looks not about the too persons. Link to comment
peterealey 0 Posted August 12, 2011 This is for me a great shot and I'd like to quote from Robin F Pendergast who wrote:"One instrumental aspect of communicating through a camera lens is being able to use photography as not only art, but also as social commentary. A good photographer first observes and investigates and then shoots, albeit quickly because the “perfect” shot is often fleeting." (Photography as Social Commentary 2002)Says it allRegards, Peter Link to comment

schonphotography 0 Posted August 13, 2011 Henri Cartier-Bresson is what comes to mind with this shot; a well executed "Decisive Moment". I would be interested to see what this looks like in black and white, the photo is a bit cluttered, but this is necessary to capture the looks of the people. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 258 Posted August 13, 2011 Judging by the hand on the nose of the woman behind them, they stink, ha!Best regards Wim!PDE Link to comment

angela_zafarana 0 Posted August 15, 2011 Hi, I am the woman in the photo. The reason I hold my nose is because of the urinoir and not because of the two men in front of me.I like the picture by the way. Great shot and a good impression of Gaypride. Link to comment
wimputs 0 Posted August 16, 2011 Thanks Angela for your comment.I think for most people it's obvious why you hold your nose. For people who not understand I am sorry too give the wrong impression. Link to comment
benhuybrechts 0 Posted August 21, 2011 Hello Wim,I am glad I read the comments, there is so much going on in this picture. At first I also thought why having the two men walk out of the picture. One extra scene in the icture is great, In the middle of the picture there is a man checking on another while he is peeing. Great,Ben Link to comment
