My dear friend Pierre,

I am so pleased to be the first to congratulate you on another outstanding image posted.

I see shadows  cast everywhere but from the distant birds . I know that you figured the geometry out such that the shadows cast by he birds fall on the downside of the distant knoll.

This feat earns you the Uncle Mike " 16" rating !

All the Best to you , Uncle Mike

... I didn´t comment the wrong pic - now I´m going to the next one of yours.

It seems me that you cut the bird a little bit to strong around the shoulder and at the left side of the head.

In addition the line of the horizont cut the head of the bird. Keep the horizont deeper - I think it would be better. Only my thoughts about a very fine work of you

warm regards Christine

Creative as always. Can hardly wait for the next one. Will the eagle, the vulture or whatever it is, get their meal? We are ready for the next incident.

........ "I rode through the desert on a horse with no name, it felt good to be out of the rain" (song lyrics)....... popped into my head as soon as I saw this image, which is a compliment to your creation here. Most composites and digital alteration and fine art works do not provoke much of a reaction from me.

This one tells an immediate story.... and now I have that damn song running through my head.

Great image Pierre.......... well done

BTW I like the Hawks eye highlight.

Well. probably you're the lone rider :-)

Must say I like this one. It's graphically cool work and somehow I agree with Christine vD.

Yes, vultures are patient.  You might consider having them circle high overhead, Pierre.

As for the eagle, it can be a carrion bird, but it is more generally thought of as a bird of prey of live animals or other birds.

The concept is certainly good.

Landrum, the number of the supposed vultures is too small to form a circle and for the eagle, by my dictionary he also belongs to the vultures and this is an abstract after all, doesn't have to be exactly like the scientific reality! BTW, the vultures are circling but they are in fact seagulls, ha! I didn't have vultures on PSD file or any picture, where could I get them!

Thanks for your visit and comment which I certainly expected!

And Christine Von Diepenbrock and VS, the position of the eagle was carefully thought of, if it was higher you could say that the horizon is cutting his neck and  it certainly couldn't be under the horizon cause of the due balance of the picture as a whole!

Thank you too for the remarks and critique!
