  I like the colors but there are a few things I think that will improve this image.  I would trim much of the right grey out of the image and a bit off the bottom.  The subject is a little too centered IMHO.

The monarch and the flower on which he stands are razor sharp and all the rest is out of focus, especially the more distant background which is so wonderfully blurred and with so wonderful combination of colors and all together the picture looks like someone's dream of the summer night! I'm simply delighted with such an original and beautiful creation!

I also think I would trim off much, if not all, of the right side and go for more of a square crop. Having said that, the delicate but precise stained glass detail of the Monarch is perfect against the soft background with its dreamy flowers.
