An excellent image Anabela. I'm not sure that the title works but the image is perfect. 

I'm a bit of a details man and would love to know more about this image. Is it the result of flooding? "Global warming"? (might be a better title...) or ?

Steve, This photo was taken in a beach where these workers toiled around the clock to provide the raw materials that allow others to lead a more comfortable life. In this case working for a luxury resort under construction...this is the sad way how big companies systematically accumulate capital through the organized exploitation of labour... that's the most dramatic silent world of people, in cheap labour countries forced to work for subsistence wages...hence my title...Thanks so much for your interest in this image. Much appreciated!

It´s scary how much there is slavery in the world,despite the ban. In my view,any form of slavery as folterakt stigmatizied because that is the highest good of  a man his freedom. And if a person temporarily or permanently deprived of his freedom wrongly,this is in my eyes nothing but an act of barbarism and torture.

Anabela, Amazing composition . A prize-winning shot, telling so much with so little. Whereas, others might need pages to write about their plight, you have done that with 5 silhouetted figures. I presume this image was shot early in the morning or late in the evening for the colors indicate temperature, if I am not mistaken. This image  deserves the highest rating . The caption is loud & clear.
