gsphotoguy 2 Posted August 8, 2011 I love the contrasting shapes of the shadow on the wall to the wall itself. You have also captured the light on the two people and on the door in a way that adds some drama but does not overpower the strong composition. You also did a nice job holding detail in the shadows. A very nice job, Marcin! Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 219 Posted August 9, 2011 But, something's wrong here! Either late afternoon or early morning the darkening doesn't fit either mood! And it can't play night successfully because it is obvious a day and after all kid with dad don't go with night! I hope I said I wanted to say and you can understand me Marcin!Best regards!PDE Link to comment

bobby_ho 0 Posted August 10, 2011 Hi Marcin, This is another great piece of art --it is creative and imaginative. The application of high contrast is effective as it provides good comparisons between the sky and the building, between the girl and her daughter, and between the door and its surroundings. The expressions of the the girl and her father direct the eye to the door and creates rooms for viewers to imagine what is behind it. One minor thing I might change is to provide more space at the top. The narrow gap between the building and the top edge of the image somehow gives me a sense of pressure (just my opinion :)).
