Nice looking girl! Her make-up and manicure look very nice. She has good skin tone. The background is nicely neutral and she is well separated from it. The lighting works well.

I'm from the old school. I like to see a girl smoking. It still can look sexy to me. It depends on how she is posed. Her expression, the cigarette and her outfit go along well with her pose, but I really wouldn't have her stand straight on to the camera. It is usually not a good idea to pose your subject facing straight on to, or away from, the camera. This is not a very feminine pose. Showing your subject’s widest areas (shoulder to shoulder or hip to hip) makes those areas appear wide. Your subject will appear thinner and more feminine, graceful and elegant if turned at an angle to the camera. The lines you see from an angle have more apparent motion, interest and grace. You usually do not want to have your subject turned 90 degrees to the camera. This can make the head look unsupported. Generally, it looks best to angle your subject somewhere around 45 degrees.

I probably would have moved her hands a bit more around to her sides so that the flat (top) of her hand wasn't facing the camera. The side (edge) of the hands toward the camera works better -- unless you are trying to make her look tough and manly.

The top crop is a little tight and I might have copped a smidgen off the left side for a slightly better left and right compositional balance.

You know Mark your "never shoot your model head on rule" like any other rule can be broken, in this case it's perfectly justified and well executed, this girl is a badass and the pose portrays that well, I love seeing a woman head on, that's how we see them most of the time in the real world. The position of the hands in this case are fine to me, nice photo Tore.

This is a great image.  Very nice looking model, well focused, well lit, like the pose and the separation from the background.  Not that I mind a cigarette in an image, I think that are sexy and portray an attitude and personality in the right image.  In this case, it looks out of place and is distracting to me.  Best regards my friend...Brent
