This photograph showcases a detail of a large modern sculpture

covering an entire wall at the new terminal (inaugurated in 2010) of

the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi.

 

The hand reminds me -- somewhat ironically -- of Mrs. Gandhi's

Congress party flag, which also features the palm of a hand.
