Hi TmJ,

A nice shot.

An easy shot with the fast 500mm F/4 , as long as focus and steadiness is preserved. That is what these monster lens excel at ; close up clarity with 1/3200 second exposure  to stop the action.

Thanks Mike! This one was shot with your comments in mind :-) - I used Av (aparture prefered) and set the f-stop to f4 and ISO and let the SS fall where ever it would be. It could have been better if I had used the 1.4X extender since he's way out there and the crop is basically at 100%. I always prefer a crop at 50% view to preserve better clarity and resolution.
